For example, when you are using our secure online donation pages you are going through to a partner company, it is clear on the donation page when you are going through to the online payment system. We also collect information through our online enquiry, event booking and become a volunteer form in order that we can contact you regarding any enquiries you may make regarding our charity services.

As a general rule, Afghan Orphans will not disclose any of your personal information, except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it. When you are using our secure online donation pages you are going through to a partner company and the information you give such as your credit card number and contact information is provided so that the transaction can take place. This information is held securely and will not be shared except when it is a requirement by UK law.

If you indicated that you are interested in receiving regular information about Afghan Orphans’ campaign work or emergency appeals we will send you communications regarding our work and activities, either electronically or otherwise. In addition, we may send you direct mail that we feel may be of interest to you. Afghan Orphans does not sell or rent user information to anyone.

The accuracy of your individual identifying information is important to Afghan Orphans. We are working on ways to make it easier for you to review and correct the information that Afghan Orphans maintains about you.
