Afghan Orphans is a UK registered charity established in 2007 when a group of Afghan expats visited Afghanistan and witnessed widespread poverty and devastation. We are a non-profit, non-governmental humanitarian organisation with our headquarters in the UK. We provide humanitarian aid to warzones and disaster zones with a focus on long term development.
Our mission is to work on long term development, education, support and protection of the most needy and vulnerable thereby breaking the cycle of hunger, poverty and breakdown of society.
Afghan Orphans is a charity built upon the values of its trustees, employees and volunteers. The core value is to embody the Islamic characteristics of honesty, trust, excellence, and sincerity that our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ came to perfect. Our impact and continued success depend upon the application of our values in our day to day work.
